Web-based and On-site: The Perfect Blend

Bert ValenciaDear Future
T-birds,

At Thunderbird, our mission is to educate global leaders - helping them develop the skills, background and mindset they need to create sustainable prosperity worldwide. Our Global MBA On-Demand program offers these attributes in a convenient format that's ranked by the Economist Intelligence Unit as No. 7 among the world's best for distance-learning MBAs.

Thunderbird's Global MBA On-Demand program successfully pairs Web-based classes with hands-on Regional Business Environment (RBE) seminars in some of the most unique global business markets in the world. Our current On-Demand students recently completed RBEs in Geneva, Switzerland and Beijing, China, where they received seminars in local business philosophy and culture - and had the opportunity to network with their international classmates (see lead story).

This program offers unparalleled global exposure, the ability to complete the Web-based classes at your convenience, and the opportunity to choose a pace that makes the most sense for you. In fact, to better meet the needs of working professionals, we will begin offering both 36-month and 12-month Global MBA On-Demand tracks this fall, along with our existing 19-month track.

Applications are currently being accepted for the fall. I encourage you to visit our Web site to learn more!

Sincerely,

Bert Valencia

Riding in China?s Pedicabs and Chasing Switzerland?s Glaciers

Sixty Global MBA On-Demand students and 18 Thunderbird/Indiana University-Kelley Direct dual degree students attended their Regional Business Environment (RBE) on-site seminars April 19-27. Half of the crew traveled to the center of Geneva, Switzerland's business district while the other half ventured into the heart of Beijing, China. Side tours in human-powered tricycles and trips to a glacier in the Alps were just part of the experience.
